What we do

The Marine Conservation Society South East Group is part of the national organisation, the Marine Conservation Society, and plays its part in the Society's campaigns as well as having activities of its own.

Meetings are held on the second Tuesday of each month at 8:15pm for 8:30pm start on top floor of the North Building, Imperial College Student Union, Biet Quadrangle,Prince Consort Rd, Kensington, London, SW7, which is well served by public transport, being near South Kensington Underground Station and several bus routes. You can park at the college, but free parking can be found outside.

The meetings usually feature a main talk on a subject which is particularly relevant to marine conservation, an update of current environmental issues and Group activities, followed by a second talk. The club has bar facilities. 

Other activities members are involved in are SEASEARCH, Marine Identification weekends and representation at various exhibitions and fairs.
